There are so many books (novels, anthologies, critical essays, etc.) featuring the vampire that it is impossible to list them all. In this final section is a gathering of titles that I would like to have found, read, and included with full annotations, but that was not always possible. In preparing the unread list I have relied on reviews, publisher catalogs, trade publications, fanzines, and recommendations from colleagues. For most of these titles I have been able to give some idea of what they are about and put them in their proper categories. For some titles a bit of guesswork was needed. |

As I look through the pages of journals such as Locus and Publishers Weekly I find more and more books on publishers' forthcoming lists.
